Refund Policy – Seiko Mod Labs
At Seiko Mod Labs, every watch is carefully custom-built using genuine Seiko movements and high-quality aftermarket parts. Because of the individual nature of each timepiece, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind or personal preferences.
Non-Refundable Situations
Please note, we do not offer refunds in the following cases:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Preferences related to size, design, colour, or fit
- Incorrect details provided during ordering
- Any damage that occurs after delivery
- Minor differences between product photos and final product (due to hand-assembled nature)
- Order delays
Custom Orders
Custom-built watches made specifically to customer specifications are non-refundable under any circumstances, unless there is a clear and proven manufacturing fault or postal issues. This includes orders where the buyer selects specific components, colourways, or other personalised options.
Please double-check all requested specifications before placing your order. If unsure, feel free to contact us for advice before purchasing.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or with a clear manufacturing fault, we will offer a full resolution.
To qualify:
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving your item
- Include a clear description of the issue along with photographic evidence
- Ensure the item is unused and unmodified
If the damage occurred during postage or there is a confirmed fault, we will:
- Arrange for the return of the damaged item
- Once received, dispatch a replacement watch at no additional cost
We aim to resolve such issues quickly and fairly.
Returns (if approved)
If a return is required:
- We’ll send instructions for how to return the watch safely
- You may be asked to return the item in its original condition with packaging
- Return shipping may be refunded if the fault is confirmed to be due to manufacturing
Exchanges
As each watch is made to order, we do not offer exchanges.
Important Notes
We always aim to be fair and understanding — but we must also protect the integrity of our small, independent business. If a refund or replacement is requested for an issue not caused by us, we reserve the right to decline the request.
These include cases where:
- The issue results from mishandling after delivery
- There is no clear evidence of a manufacturing fault
- The watch has been worn, opened, or altered
